We were chased out of the Marina by unfortunate weather. We had wanted to go to a quiz set up by Tony Cross but, getting away on saturday would have been uncomfortable at best. With even worse weather on Sunday and Monday, followed by large bills at Summer rates from Tuesday - it was time to go!
The wind was light but on the nose (I now know a song about that) all the way. Lucifer managed to throw up twice and L is not feeling at all well but we got there and joined Skylark 2. It's really nice to be under way again.
Elounda/Spinalonga is a superb anchorage which we know well. We expect to stay here for at least 3 days and maybe more until we get a good wind for the Saronic Gulf.
